Thanks so much for checking out my map! It's a faster map designed for 4 player action (Players use just 36 train cards). Perfectly proportional to the Europe board. Links to download the files are below.
I chose Great Britain because it was the birthplace of the industrial revolution and thus fits my "worker strike" cards that I've incorporated into the game. The early days of cross-country train travel was full of problems and peril, and this game brings that uncertainty to life. It also fits into the existing TTR boards that encapsulate train travel of yesteryear.
New game feature: Worker Strike cards. Now every route is potentially a "tunnel route".
To incorporate Worker Strike cards into your deck, apply a marking (I used the sticky portion of 3m post-it notes) on 1 of each colored train car and 1 locomotive. Ta da, now you have "Strike Cards".
One player (resolve clockwise if need be) may play a strike card from their hand on another player trying to connect a route. Only one strike card may be played. When flipping 3, if a strike card gets turned over, the turn ends and the route is not completed. Otherwise, normal tunnel rules apply.
Drawing face up strike cards are the same as drawing face up locomotive cards.
Playing a strike card on an opponent does not count as an action or any part of your move.
Prints full size, to scale, at 200 dpi.
•7 routes of every color
•15 segments of red, 16 of all other colors
•73 Gray
With 4 players @ 36 train cars each, exactly as crowded as a 5-player game on the Europe board.
I matched fonts and all game components and visuals are the same size as official boards. My board even has original artwork incorporated.
